Our specialty is the production of industrial wheels. Our capabilities also include many related services.

Patterns

We have the capability and expertise to make patterns in-house to meet customers' special needs for wheels centers not currently available

Mold Production

Trew has always designed and manufactured its own molds for use in production. special molds can be produced quickly and inexpensively.

Tread Only

We apply polyurethane to customer's new machined centers, frequently reducing the overall cost of the product to the end user.

Retreading

Trew removes existing tread and then, after cleaning, applies new tread of your choice.

Machine shop

All of our centers are machined in-house on our modern CNC lathes and productive automatic "chuckers." Our machining services are available on a contract basis.

Warranty

Trew Industrial Wheels, Inc. warrants all wheels to be free from defective workmanship and materials for a period of one year from date shipped. This warranty is conditional upon wheels being used in the environment and application for which they were sold. All capacities are based on intermittent use at speeds not in excess of 3 mph. We cannot be responsible for misuse, accidents, or unusual conditions not reported to us at the time of purchase. Trew wheels are not intended for human conveyances or amusement rides. In all cases, our liability shall be limited to the factory invoice cost of the products.

Design / Specification Changes

Trew Industrial Wheels, Inc. reserves the right to change the design and/or modify the specifications of items in this catalog without notice. If a particular dimension or specification is critical, it should be verified at the time the order is placed.

Polyurethane Wheel Features

We at Trew feel there is no one in the USA that manufactures a better polyurethane tired industrial wheel.

Features of Trew Industrial Wheels Include:

Liquid Castings. Each Trew polyurethane wheel is made from high grade liquid polyurethane that is chemically activated, and then set into form with heat.

Chemical Bonding. Unmatched in providing excellent adhesion of polyurethane to the wheel center. Mechanical bonds generally associated with injection molding tend to come loose around the core, creating a variety of problems.

Casting preparation is the key to providing the crucial bond. Trew's exacting procedure produces a bond that is well beyond industry standards.

Solid web cast iron centers provide greater strength and easier cleaning, and have a minimum tensile strength of 30,000 psi.

Unique crown tread design has no parting line, thereby improving appearance and providing a smoother ride with better concentricity. The crown tread is supplied in most sizes, 12x3 and smaller; for specific models please consult the factory.
